Many parents are asking a million questions before buying pets for children. What threats can be in wait for the baby when communicating with a pet? Than fraught with animal walking on the street fraught with a child? Is it reasonable to start an animal if the family is expected to add?
And these issues are quite logical, because before buying a British kitten, for example, you need to think over everything. In general, two situations are possible: either the pet lived in the family before the appearance of the little one or the child already asks for himself a pet.
With the second situation, everything is much simpler, because you can choose an animal, already knowing the characteristics of the health and behavior of your child, but what to do with the first situation?
Parents are most afraid that the animal, which for several years was the favorite of the family, will negatively react to the appearance of the baby. Of course, mainly such fears accompany dog owners and cats. In fact, these animals submit to strict hierarchy and child perceive as a defenseless creature. Of course, the child’s many hours of attempts to drag the beast by the tail or poke in the eyes – games for children, but even the very loyal animal may end in patience. In this case, the cat will be found warningly, and the dog will grow, after which they can already attack. Therefore, a child should not be left alone with a pet and with “young nails” should be accustomed to crumbs to care for animals.
Animals are able to endure dangerous diseases, so do not forget about regular vaccinations and examinations by the veterinarian.
