There are plenty of music festivals in Mallorca, most of which take place in the summer, that is, at the height of the tourist season.
So, in Inca, which is located in the center of the island, throughout July you can listen to wonderful jazz on the central streets of the city, this genre is also loved in La Puebla, where music concerts are held at the beginning of hot August (Sa Pobla Jazz Festival). Both events, it should be noted, can be visited absolutely free of charge. No less interesting is the Deià International Music Festival, which is held at the beginning of May in the city of Deia, and specifically in the Son Marroig Museum. It is dedicated to classical music in all its manifestations, and you can listen to symphonic music concerts on weekends throughout the summer season.
In addition to the Deià International Music Festival, the island hosts four more festivals dedicated to classical music. Bellver Castle, which is located in the capital of Mallorca and is one of the main attractions of the city, hosts hundreds of maestros and musical groups throughout the summer, and the festival that is held in August in the city of Valldemossa, in the Monasterio La Cartuja, is also interesting for tourists. We are talking about the Chopin Classical Music Festival, during which you can listen to not only classical pieces, but also classics in modern arrangements. Another festival is held in Pollensa throughout August (the venues are cultural institutions of the city), another festival is held in early October in Port de Soller, and is dedicated to piano music.
